Boat Finder Brokerage was created by Michael Knott and Eunice Tunstall. Having been boaters for many years and bought and sold boats using brokers, they felt there was a need for brokerage to move into the 21st century. They say; "Customers deserve a higher standard of presentation, better quality information and a friendly professional service. "The most common complaint about buying a boat is the amount of time and money wasted travelling around viewing boats that turn out to be unsuitable because the information provided by most brokers is seriously lacking. Technology can change all that. "We are totally unique and market leaders in our presentation. It's taken many years of testing and research to bring Boat Finder to the market and we are currently the only broker in the world to offer this type of service." Michael and Eunice are supported by a team who list the boats, manage the website, prepare the specifications and keep in touch with the buyers and sellers throughout the process. For example, identifying new boats which might meet buyers requirements or arranging viewings. Filming and inspections are carried out exclusively by Michael and Eunice - they believe it's too important a task to be contracted out. It's your pride and joy, after all. The keys to success The secret to buying and selling boats is to bring the interested parties together. Marinas are good at showing you a large variety of boats in one place - it makes a nice day out. But if you're buying you don't get enough detail and if you're selling you have the keys to your pride and joy given out to anyone who visits. We believe it's better for the parties to be brought together only when there is genuine interest as it saves time and effort. We also believe that the boat should stays in its home moorings whilst it's being sold so you have use of it in the meantime and you can care for it in the best way. As this isn't always possible we can provide brokerage mooring facilities near Anderton, Cheshire. But we'll only ever do accompanied viewings there, by appointment.
