The Interior Boat Plan

From the Bow

From the bow which has a vented steel gas locker, there is a 4’ 6” self draining open well deck with locker/seats to either side. The headlamp is mounted on the roof. The stainless steel water tank is located beneath the well deck.

Generic fixtures and fittings

Ceilings, cabin sides and hull sides are lined in Oak veneered ply that is framed and trimmed with solid hardwood. Fixed furniture, cupboards and doors are constructed from Oak veneered MDF. All interior wood has been varnished to a gloss finish. Flooring through out is high quality carpet except to the galley and shower room which have cushion floor.

Lounge 11’ 2”

Hardwood, half glazed front doors open onto the front deck, with storage steps leading down into the lounge. The lounge has a raised floor and ample space for loose furniture. Fixed Furniture: 1 x half height corner cabinet. Under gunwale cupboard and display shelves. Heating: Cast iron, solid fuel stove set on a tiled hearth and surround. Lighting: 2 x large windows with top hopper style opening vents. 1 x 12v, ceiling mounted, round light. 4 x 12v, brass wall lights Power: 2 x 240v sockets. 1 x 12v socket. Other Features: Stereo radio/CD player with speakers. Raised floor.

Dinette 6’ 3”

The raised Pullman style dinette has two bench style seats upholstered in good quality, hard-wearing material and has storage cupboards beneath the seats and beneath the floor. The dinette converts into a double bed. Light: 2 x large windows one has a top hopper style opening vent the other window has slide opening. 1 x 12v, ceiling mounted, round light. Heating: 1 x central heating radiator.

Galley 7’ 6”

The galley has custom built units with Oak veneered doors. Worktops are high gloss granite effect melamine, edged in solid hardwood. Units: 1 x large double cupboard that extends into the corner. 1 x double cupboard with two drawers over. Integral wine rack. Oven housing unit Fridge housing unit. Appliances: Belling slot in gas cooker with glass lid/splash-back. 240v, Lec fridge. Inset stainless steel sink and drainer with chrome monobloc mixer tap. Light: 1 x large window with top hopper style opening vent. 1 x set of steel side doors wood lined internally. 1 x roof mounted Houdini hatch. 4 x 12v, halogen down lights. 1 x 12v, ceiling mounted round light. Power: 4 x 240v sockets. 1 x 12v socket.

Shower room 6’ x 4’

The cabin shower room has a white suite comprising: Suite: Fully tiled domestic sized shower cubicle with etched glass door, chrome shower attachment and mixer taps. Vanity unit with inset wash basin, chrome taps and a cupboard beneath. Vetus macerator pump-out toilet with 50 gallon holding tank. Wall mounted vanity mirror. Full height airing cupboard with shelving. Heating: 1 x rail radiator. Power: Shaver socket. Light: 1 x large porthole with top hopper style opening vent and privacy glass and a further porthole in the corridor. 2 x 12v, ceiling mounted, round lights.

Bedroom 8’ & Aft exit area 2’ 2”

Furniture: 6’ 3” x 4’ fixed double bed with storage cupboards and holding tank in the base. Double over bed cupboard. Full height double wardrobe. Storage cupboard under rear steps. Light: 2 x large windows with top hopper style opening vents. 1 x 12v, ceiling mounted, round lights. 2 x 12v brass spot lights mounted beneath the over bed cupboard. Power: 2 x 240v sockets. Heating: 1 x central heating radiator.

Semi-trad deck & Stern

A set of steel rear doors wood lined internally with steel sliding roof hatch lead from the bedroom to the semi-trad deck where the engine is housed under the deck panels. The deck boards are marine ply with anti slip deck tread. A further set of steel stern doors close off the stern deck. Other Features: Metal lockers/seats either side of the semi-trad deck. Controls: The single lever engine control is mounted on the port side. The electrical control panel is just inside the rear doors on the port side.

Port: 4 x gold anodised aluminium framed windows with top hopper style opening vents. 1 x gold anodised framed porthole with hopper style vent and privacy glass.
Starboard: 3 x gold anodised aluminium framed windows with top hopper style opening vents. 1 x gold anodised framed porthole. 1 x set of steel side doors wood lined internally.
Front: Steel hatch on bow locker. Hardwood front doors, half glazed.

Roof: Houdini hatch over the galley.

WATER
150 gallon stainless steel water tank housed beneath the well deck. Water pump with pressure switch and accumulator is housed under the front step. 12 gallon, twin coil calorifier is heated by the diesel fired central heating boiler and/or the engine’s heat exchanger.

HEATING
Heating is provided by the solid fuel stove in the lounge and the diesel fired boiler running 4 radiators.

ELECTRICS
240v circuit
240v landline socket with RCD.
12v lights throughout protected by fuses.
2 x 12v engine driven alternators 75 amp/hr and 55 amp/hr.
1 x 110 amp/hr engine start battery.
2 x 270 amp/hr deep cycle leisure batteries.
1 x Sterling 1800w inverter/charger.
Wiring for bow-thruster.

EXTERIOR FINISH
The boat will be professionally painted using quality coach enamels. The hull will be protected by black bitumen and 4 sacrificial anodes.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS OF INVENTORY
The boat comes equipped with the normal cruising inventory including ropes and fenders. Any additional items not listed must be negotiated separately with the builder.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The boat is powered by a 38hp Beta Marine, 4 cylinder, water cooled, marine diesel engine with PRM gearbox with 2:1 reduction, turning the propeller. The exhaust is lagged, silenced and vents out from under the side deck. The engine powers two 12v alternators to charge the start battery and 2 leisure batteries.

GAS
1 x 13kg Propane cylinder with manual change-over, housed in the bow locker, providing gas to the cooker.
