The Interior Boat Plan

From the Bow

From the bow which has a steel gas locker, there is a 4’ 8” self draining well deck with a painted wood cratch frame, window to the front and a zipped and studded vinyl cover with clear panels. There are steel locker/seats to the front and sides of the well deck with plywood tops and vinyl cushions and a hinged table top, traditionally decorated. The water tank is located beneath the well deck with a surface mounted filler.

 

Generic fixtures and fittings

Ceilings, hull sides and cabin sides are lined with American Light Oak veneered plywood that is framed and recessed with solid Oak. All wood surfaces have been sealed and varnished to a gloss finish. Floors through-out are solid Oak.

Lounge 16’ 3” (including dinette)

Hardwood front doors, 2/3 glazed, open out onto the front deck with a storage step leading down into the large open lounge.

Fixed Furniture: 1 x half height corner cupboard. Low level shelves to either side of the lounge. 2 x TV and HiFi shelves. Drawers beneath the front step and the raised hearth.

Heating: Coalbrookdale, Little Wenlock solid fuel stove set on a raised ceramic tiled hearth and surround. Fin-rads concealed behind vented skirting.

Loose Furniture: Please note the Stressless recliners in the photograph are not included in the asking price but are available by separate negotiation.

Power: 10 x 240v sockets. 2 x 12v sockets.

Lighting: 3 x portholes. 1 x set of steel side doors, wood panelled internally. 1 x Houdini hatch. 6 x 12v, halogen down-lights.

Dinette

Raised Pullman style dinette with quality upholstered, bench style seats. Storage space beneath the seats and base. Oak table top with folding leg. The dinette converts into a 6’ 4” double berth and also extends to accommodate six for dining.

Galley 8’ 3”

The galley has custom built cabinets with Oak framed doors and drawer fronts. Wood effect Formica worktops edged in Oak with ceramic tiled splash-backs.

Base Units: 1 x large double cupboard. 2 x single cupboards with drawers above. 1 x small cupboard beneath the sink. 1 x corner cupboard. Full height unit housing the washing machine and tumble dryer with locker style cupboard above. Full height oven housing with cupboards above and below. Fridge/freezer housing.

Wall Units: 2 x single wall cupboards.

Appliances: Vanette, 4000/2, inset four burner gas hob. Vanette, GG7000, built-in gas oven and grill. 240v, Zanussi fridge/freezer. Zanussi Washing machine. Zanussi tumble dryer. Belfast style ceramic sink with chrome monobloc tap.

Bathroom 5’ 6”

The cleverly designed full width bathroom has a door to separate the toilet and still allow walk past.

Suite: White suite comprising: Corner vanity unit with inset porcelain basin, chrome taps and a cupboard beneath. Large Formica lined shower enclosure. Tecma Vacuflush pump-out toilet.

Power: 1 x shaver socket.

Other Features: 12v fan in roof vent. Medicine cabinet with mirror door. Shelving to the side of the shower enclosure.

Stern 3’ 8”

A set of steel rear doors wood panelled internally with steel sliding roof hatch, lead from the rear cabin to the stern deck. The engine is housed under the rear steps and accessed via a lift up floor panels. There are two steerer’s seats on the stern deck.

Controls: The single lever engine control and instrument panel are located on the port side just inside the rear doors.

3 x 3.9kg Propane cylinders with auto change-over, housed in the bow locker, provide gas to the hob, oven and grill.

WATER
Integral 200 gallon steel water tank beneath the well deck. Water pump with pressure switch and accumulator is located in the galley. Twin coil, 14 gallon calorifier is heated by the diesel fired boiler, 240v emersion and/or the engine heat exchanger.

HEATING
Heating is provided by the Coalbrookdale solid fuel stove in the lounge and/or the Eberspacher diesel fired boiler running Fin-rads along the length of the cabin. There is also a Dimplex 40w radiator in the shower room.

EXTERIOR FINISH & HULL PROTECTION
The boat was painted when built using quality coach enamels by Stowe Hill in 2005 and is still in excellent condition. Last docked for hull blacking at the end of January 2008. The hull is protected by 6 sacrificial anodes.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS OF INVENTORY
The boat comes equipped with the normal cruising inventory including ropes and fenders. Any other items not listed must be by separate negotiation with the owners.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Cowslip is powered by a Beta Marine, 43hp, 4 cylinder, marine diesel engine coupled to a PRM hydraulic gearbox with 2:1 reduction, turning the propeller. The exhaust is lagged, silenced and vents out from under the side deck. The engine powers two 12v alternators to charge the start battery and the 4 leisure batteries.

BOW-THRUSTER
Nobels 9hp electric bow-thruster with push-button controls at the stern.
