The Interior Boat Plan

From the Bow

From the bow which holds the gas locker, there is a covered well deck with wooden cratch frame that is traditionally decorated and has a zipped and studded vinyl cover. The 150 gallon stainless steel water tank is housed beneath the well deck with a surface mount filler. The headlamp is mounted on the front of the cratch frame.

 

Generic fixtures and fittings

Hull sides, cabin sides, ceilings and bulkheads are lined in American White Oak faced ply that has been recessed and framed in solid Oak. Fixed furniture is also constructed from solid Oak. All wood surfaces have been sealed and varnished to a gloss finish. All flooring, tiling and soft furnishings are of high quality and are all colour co-ordinated in tones and mixtures of terracotta, cream and green to compliment the light wood.

Lounge 12’

Solid Oak front doors that are 1/2 glazed and leaded open out onto the front deck, with two storage steps down into the lounge.

Fixed Furniture: Corner cabinets by the front doors. Corner cabinet, shelves and a radiator surround.

Heating: Cast iron solid fuel stove on a tiled hearth and surround with green and terracotta ceramic tiles.

Lighting: 2 x large windows with top hopper style opening vents. 4 x 12v, halogen down lights. 4 x 12v, brass wall mounted spot lamps.

Power: 2 x 240v sockets. 2 x 12v sockets. 2 x TV aerial points.

Flooring: The floor is covered in a terracotta, coloured carpet.

 

Galley 6’

The galley has custom built cabinets with panelled Oak doors and drawer fronts and green stone effect melamine worktops with Oak edges.

Base Units: 4 x base cupboards, 2 x large end shelves, 1 x wine rack, 1 x oven housing, 1 x fridge housing.

Wall Units: 1 x corner wall cabinet with leaded glass door.

Appliances: Country Leisure HB14000 Stainless steel built in oven and grill. Midi Prima deep inset 4 burner gas hob with flush fitting glass lid. Lec 12v 4.2 cu/ft fridge with freezer compartment.

Dinette 6’

Aft of the galley is a raised Pullman style dinette with upholstered bench style seats and large storage capacity beneath. The table top is supported on two 'desmo' legs. This all converts into a double bed.

Heating: 1 x small, single panel central heating radiator.

Flooring: As in the galley.

Lighting: 1 x large window with top hopper style opening vent. 3 x 12v, halogen down-lights.

 

Shower Room 7’

The full width shower room has a white suite comprising:

Aft Cabin 4’ & Stern 3’ 4”

A door and steps up from the bedroom lead into the aft cabin where the engine and batteries are housed under the floor panels. All the other usual hardware for the running of the boat are also housed in this area. Steel rear doors, wood lined internally and traditionally decorated with steel sliding roof hatch lead to the rear deck and steering position.

Controls: The single lever engine control and control panel are mounted to the left of the steering position.

Light: 1 x 12v, wall mounted light.

Power: 1 x 240v socket on the inverter.

Flooring: The floor panels are covered in green waterproof anti-slip tread.

Heating is provided by the solid fuel stove in the lounge and/or the Eberspacher diesel fired central heating boiler running 4 radiators.

EXTERIOR FINISH
The boat was professionally painted in quality coach enamels when new and due to care and maintenance by the owners is still in very good condition. Last docked for hull blacking in November 2007.

The boat comes equipped with a normal cruising inventory including a full set of ropes and fenders. Any additional items not listed must be negotiated separately with the owners.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The boat is powered by a Beta Marine, 38hp, 4 cylinder, water cooled, marine diesel engine, coupled to a Newage PRM 120 gearbox with 2:1 reduction, turning the propeller. The exhaust is lagged, silenced and vents out from under the side deck. The engine powers 2 x 12v alternators to charge the start battery and three leisure batteries.
