The Interior Boat Plan

From the Bow

From the bow which holds the gas locker, there is a 4’ 8” self draining well deck with Mahogany cratch frame, window to the front and vinyl cover with clear panels. There are steel locker/seats to either side of the well deck. The water tank is located beneath the well deck with a surface mounted filler.

Generic fixtures and fittings

The ceilings are lined with Pine tongue and groove. Cabin sides and hull sides are lined with mellowed Ash faced plywood and trimmed with solid Ash. All the interior wood has been varnished to a gloss finish. There are curtains or blinds to all windows.

Saloon 14’ 6”

Hardwood, half glazed front doors open out onto the front deck with a storage step down into the large open plan saloon. Fixed Furniture: 1 x half height corner cupboard. Under gunwale display unit with brass fiddle rails. Loose Furniture: 2-3 seat sofa that converts into a double bed. Matching armchair that converts into a single berth better suited to a child. 2 x tall chairs. Heating: Brunel, solid fuel stove set on a tiled hearth with ornate ceramic tiled surround. 1 x central heating radiator. Lighting: 4 x windows with top hopper style opening vents. 2 x 12v, ceiling mounted, round lights. 2 x 12v, wall lights. Power: 2 x 240v sockets. 1 x 12v socket. The ‘U’ shaped galley has custom built units with white panelled door and drawer fronts. Worktops are stone effect melamine with a ceramic tiled splash-back. Base units: 1 x large cupboard beneath the sink that extends into the corner and has a drawer over. Breakfast bar with fridge housing beneath and a cupboard that is accessed from the saloon. Steel stern doors lead onto the rear deck and steering position. Other Features: Steel locker/seats to either side of the semi-trad deck. Taff rail seats. Controls: The single lever engine control is on the port side just inside the stern doors. Flooring: Marine ply boards with anti-slip deck tread.

WINDOWS, DOORS & HATCHES

WATER
The 150 gallon integral steel water tank is located under the front well deck. Water pump with pressure switch and accumulator is housed in the front cupboard. The twin coil calorifier is heated by the diesel fired central heating boiler and/or the engine heat exchanger.

HEATING
Heating is provided by the Brunel solid fuel stove in the lounge and the Mikuni diesel fired boiler running 4 radiators.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS OF INVENTORY
The boat comes equipped with the normal cruising inventory including ropes and fenders. Any additional items not listed must be negotiated separately with the owners.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The boat is powered by a Lombardini LDW 1904, 4 cylinder water cooled, marine diesel engine, coupled to a PRM 120 hydraulic gearbox turning the propeller. The exhaust is lagged, silenced and vents out under the side deck. The engine powers twin an alternator to charge the start battery and the 4 leisure batteries.

EXTERIOR FINISH
The exterior was repainted in 2008 using quality coach enamels. The boat was last docked for blacking in September 2007. The hull is protected by 4 sacrificial anodes.

GAS
2 x 13kg Propane cylinders with manual change-over, housed in the bow locker, provide gas to the cooker.
