39ft Trad style narrow boat. Quality steelwork by Canalcraft Boatbuilders. Owner fit-out to a professional standard in Oak and Pine. Powered by a Isuzu 35hp, 4 cylinder marine diesel engine with PRM 150 gearbox.

This boat has been repainted in 2008 and had its engine replaced in 2007. It would make a charming leisure boat for holidays and short breaks. Could also be used as a starter boat for living aboard. Current mooring is transferable.

The Interior Boat Plan

From the Bow

From the bow which holds the gas locker, there is a 3’ 5” open self draining well deck. The steel water tank is located beneath the well deck with a surface mounted filler. The headlamp is mounted on the roof.

Generic fixtures and fittings

The ceilings and cabin sides are lined with Pine tongue and groove which has been varnished to a gloss finish. The hull sides are lined in Oak faced plywood. There are curtains or blinds to all windows. All interior wood has been varnished to a gloss finish.

Saloon 6’ 10”

Steel front doors, wood lined internally open out onto the front deck with a step down into the saloon. Fixed Furniture: 1 x half height corner shelf. Fixed settee with Velour upholstered cushions and 2 storage cupboards beneath. Pull-out dining table with 2 drawers beneath. Loose Furniture: 2 x Pine stools. Lighting: 2 x portholes. 2 x 12v, ceiling mounted dome lights. 2 x 12v, wall lights. Heating: Large Epping solid fuel stove with oven set on a ceramic tiled hearth with metal heat reflector. Power: 2 x 240v sockets. 1 x 12v, three pin socket. Flooring: Carpet.

Galley 5’ 3”

The walk through galley has custom built units with Pine panelled doors. Worktops are stone effect laminate with a ceramic tiled splash-back. Base units: 1 x double cupboard. 2 x single cupboards. Open fronted storage cupboard with hanging rail. Oven housing. Fridge housing. Appliances: Vanette 4000/2, four burner gas hob. Vanette GG7000, built in gas oven with separate grill. Inlander electric fridge with icebox. Inset, green enamel sink and drainer and a chrome monobloc tap. Lighting: 2 x portholes. 1 x 12v, ceiling mounted dome light. Flooring: Carpet.

Shower room 3’10” x 4’

The fully tiled cabin shower room has a beige suite comprising: Suite: Glazed shower enclosure with chrome shower attachment. Vanity unit with inset wash basin, chrome taps and a cupboard beneath. Porta-Potti toilet. Lighting: 1 x porthole with privacy glass and a further porthole in the corridor. 1 x 12v, ceiling mounted dome light. Flooring: Slate effect floor tiles.

Bedroom 10’ 7”

Furniture: 4’ x 6’2” fixed double bed with interior sprung mattress and storage space beneath. 1 x wet locker. Lighting: 2 x portholes. 1 x 12v, ceiling mounted dome light. 1 x 12v, reading light. Power: 2 x 240v sockets. 2 x 12v sockets. Flooring: Carpet.

Stern

Steel stern doors, wood lined internally with sliding roof hatch lead to the stern deck and steering position. Other Features: 2 x padded steerer’s seats. Controls: The column mounted single lever engine control is just inside the stern doors on the port side.

Heating is provided by the large Epping solid fuel stove with oven in the lounge.

EXTERIOR FINISH
The boat was professionally repainted in March 2008 and is in excellent condition. The boat was last docked for blacking in March 2008. The hull is protected 4 anodes.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS OF INVENTORY
The boat comes equipped with a normal cruising inventory including a full set of ropes and fenders. Any additional items not listed must be negotiated separately with the owner.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The boat is powered by a Isuzu 35 hp, 4 cylinder, diesel engine coupled to a PRM 150 hydraulic gearbox with 2:1 reduction, turning the propeller. The exhaust is lagged, silenced and vents out from under the side deck. The engine powers twin 12v alternators to charge the start battery and the 2 leisure batteries.
