The Interior Boat Plan
From the Bow
|
From the bow which has a steel gas locker, there is a 410 self draining well deck. The hardwood cratch frame has windows to the front with a zipped and studded vinyl cover. There are locker/seats to either side of the well deck. The 180 gallon integral water tank is located beneath the well deck with a surface mounted filler. The headlamp is mounted on the front of the cratch frame.

The ceilings are lined with Ash tongue and groove. The hull sides and cabin sides are lined with Oak faced board and framed with Oak. All interior wood has been varnished to a gloss finish. There are Venetian blinds to all windows.

EXTERIOR FINISH
The boat was painted using quality coach paints in 2007.
The boat was last docked for blacking in 2008. The hull is
protected by black bitumen and 4 anodes.
ADDITIONAL ITEMS OF INVENTORY
The boat comes equipped with the normal cruising
inventory including ropes and fenders. Any additional
items not listed must be negotiated separately with the
owners.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The boat is powered by a vintage 44hp, Gardner, 4
cylinder, water cooled, marine diesel engine with PRM 500
hydraulic gearbox with 2:1 reduction, turning the propeller.
The exhaust is lagged, silenced and vents out via a chimney
in the roof. The engine powers two 24v alternators to
charge 2 start batteries and 4 leisure batteries.
GAS
2 x 13kg Propane cylinders, housed in the bow locker,
provide gas to the oven, grill and hob.
BUILDER
Detailed steelwork by Cutwater Narrowboats with a
contemporary fit-out in Oak and Ash by John Evans.
BOW-THRUSTER
Bow-thruster tube fitted.
