43ft x 12ft Very rare, original Dutch Barge. Dutch clog shaped with small spritsail rig of Ketch configuration.
A great opportunity to own a rare, historic craft that has been lovingly restored and maintained. Classed as category C it is totally self sufficient and fully equipped to cruise the canals and rivers of Europe. Comfortably fitted with lots of good old fashioned character. Converted from commercial use by a previous Dutch owner. Extensively cruised around Europe. All sails new in 2005.
This boat is being sold with the benefit of a 2006 survey. Moorings also available by separate negotiation.

The Interior Boat Plan
From the Bow
|
The bow is 8’ 5” and has a hatch to the forward hold. The generator is housed here as well as the two 500 litre stainless steel water tanks. The mast is mounted on the forward deck.

Interior linings are veneered Ply, hardwood tongue and groove, these have either been painted or varnished. There are curtains to all windows and a spare set of curtains are included.

Wheelhouse 7’6” x 5’3” & Stern deck 6’ 8”

Steps lead from the galley to the wheelhouse. The hardwood wheelhouse is fully glazed and has upholstered seating with storage space in the base where the batteries are housed.
Hardwood, 1/2 glazed, sliding doors either side of the wheelhouse lead to the rear deck which has a safety rail around the stern. The engine is located beneath the wheelhouse.
Controls: The single lever engine control is mounted on the starboard side. Large ships wheel and engine control panel with GPS and echo sounder is mounted on the aft bulkhead at the steering position. There is an emergency tiller.
Other Features: Large storage locker on the rear deck. Anchor winch. Life belt.
Light: Glazed to all sides. 2 x 12v, ceiling mounted round lights.

the front deck. The water pump and accumulator are
located in the engine room. The 55 litre, twin coil calorifier
is heated by the engine heat exchanger and/or the 1000w
emersion heater.
HEATING
Heating is provided by the Pelgrim drip fed diesel/Kerosene
stove in the lounge.

EXTERIOR FINISH
The boat was last painted in 2005. The hull is protected by
anti-fouling and 6 anodes. The boat was last docked for
anti-fouling and the anodes renewed in 2006.
ADDITIONAL ITEMS OF INVENTORY
The boat comes equipped with the normal cruising
inventory including ropes and fenders. Any other items not
listed must be by separate negotiation with the owners.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The boat is powered by a DAF 615 120hp, 6 cylinder,
marine diesel engine with Paragon HF7 gearbox with 3:1
reduction, turning the propeller. The exhaust is lagged,
silenced and vents out from under the side deck. The
engine powers two alternators, 1x 12v, 1 x 250AC to charge
the start batteries and the 2 leisure batteries.
