57 x 12 3 Historic former Dutch sailing barge. Riveted steel hull which js currently under going a repaint with a traditional wooden tiller. Characterful fit-out offering 4 berth accommodation.
Powered by a DAF 165, 150hp marine diesel engine with a Velvetdrive gearbox. Original Friesland Tjalk built in Sneek, Holland in 1909. Built as a sailing cargo barge and converted around the 1950s to a comfortable home. Fitted with lots of good old fashioned character. Moorings available at Roydon marina by separate negotiation. It comes with a good survey from 2002
BSSC to 2014.

From the Bow

From the bow which has the focsle containing the water tank and chain locker there is large front deck. Beneath the front deck is a large storage hold with large access hatch. |

Generic fixtures and fittings
The ceilings are lined with painted tongue and groove. Cabin sides are lined with pine tongue and groove. Hull sides are lined with plywood which has been painted. All the interior wood has been varnished to a gloss finish. Flooring throughout the boat is solid oak except to the front cuddy cabin. There are roller blinds to all windows.

WINDOWS, DOORS & HATCHES

GAS
2 x 13kg Propane cylinders housed in the stern locker
provide gas to the hob, grill and the gas fired water heater.
WATER
The 1000 litre steel water tank is located in the bow. Water
pump with pressure switch is located adjacent to the tank.
Water is heated by the Morco gas fired water heater in the
bathroom.
HEATING
Heating is provided by the Morso solid fuel stove in the
saloon. The solid fuel stove has a back boiler running 1
radiator.

240v circuit from landline with RCD.
12v lights throughout protected by fuses.
1 x 12v, engine driven alternator.
2 x 12v, engine start batteries.
2 x 12v, deep cycle leisure batteries.

EXTERIOR FINISH
The boat is in the process of being repainted. The boat was
last docked for blacking in 2011 and is protected by 4
anodes.
ADDITIONAL ITEMS OF INVENTORY
The boat comes equipped with a normal cruising inventory
including a full set of ropes and fenders. Any additional
items not listed must be negotiated separately with the
owner.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The boat is powered by a DAF 165, 150 hp, 6 cylinder,
marine diesel engine coupled to a Velvetdrive gearbox,
turning the propeller. The exhaust is lagged, silenced and
vents out from under the side deck.
The engine powers an alternator to charge the start batteries
and the 2 leisure batteries.
MOORING INFORMATION
There are moorings for this boat, available by separate
negotiation.
