Quality steelwork by Elton Moss Boatbuilders using the well-known Branson Kit, with 12mm Keel, 18mm stem, 10mm engine beds, 6mm hull, 5 mm deck, cabin sides and roof. High quality fit-out in oak by Elton Moss Boatbuilders. Powered by a Perkins 86hp marine diesel engine.

This is our newest example of our ‘Built to Order’ range of Dutch Barges, they are built to an exceptionally high standard by time-served craftsmen and are fully equipped. They are available in 50ft, 57ft and 65ft lengths. They are constructed to a Category C standard and can therefore be used on coastal waters including The Mediterranean, The North Sea and The English Channel.

The Interior Boat Plan

From the Bow

From the bow there is the 8’7” front deck with anchor pulley, steel gas locker and a steel storage locker. The 1900 litre water tanks located in the bow and beneath the front bed. Access hatch to bow-thruster and water tank.

Generic fixtures and fittings

Ceilings, hull sides and cabin sides are lined in oak veneered plywood and trimmed with solid oak. Fixed furniture and doors are constructed from oak veneered MDF and solid oak. All wood surfaces have been sealed and finished in gloss varnish.

Bedroom 12’ 2”

Furniture: Fixed double bed with water tank below. Desk/dressing table with 3 drawers. 3 x under gunwale cupboards. 1 x wall mounted cupboard.

Lighting: 2 x mahogany and brass framed side opening portholes. 1 x Houdini roof hatch. 5 x 12v, LED down lights. 2 x 12v, LED under gunwale lights.

Heating: 1 x central heating radiator with fretwork cover.

The large open plan galley has custom built cabinets with Oak door and drawer fronts, curved solid granite breakfast bar and solid Granite worktops.

Base Units: 1 x large double cupboard beneath the sink that extends into both corners. 3 x double cupboards. 3 x single cupboards. 1 x 4 drawer unit. Integral wine rack. Oven housing. Fridge/Freezer housing.

Wall units: 2 x wall cupboards.

Appliances: Whirlpool, stainless steel four burner gas hob. Whirlpool 240v electric oven and grill. 240v Whirlpool upright fridge freezer. Extractor cooker hood. Stainless steel double sink with chrome monobloc tap.

Wheelhouse 11’ x 7’

Steps lead up from the galley to the wheelhouse. The glazed Mahogany wheelhouse is fully collapsible. The engine room is below the wheelhouse and accessed through the lift up floor panels. Part glazed stable style side doors lead out to the decks.

Controls: The single lever engine control, steering wheel and the control panel are mounted on the centre console at the steering position. The deluxe control panel has VHF radio, depth meter, rudder position, individual windscreen wipers, water, waste and fuel tank gauges.

Other Features: Fixed settee with padded bench seat. External steps to raised deck area.

Lighting: Windows all round. 5 x 12v, wall lights. 1 x 12v, ceiling light in the corridor.

WATER

HEATING
Heating is provided by the Morso solid fuel stove in the saloon and the Webasto 9kw diesel fired boiler running 7 radiators.

EXTERIOR FINISH
The boat was finished using PPG 2 pack P.E. on the cabin sides. The hull is protected by International Intertuff, 4 anodes on the hull and 2 anodes on the rudder.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS OF INVENTORY
The boat comes equipped with the normal cruising inventory including ropes and fenders. Any additional items not listed must be negotiated separately with the owners.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The boat is powered by a Perkins 86hp, water cooled, marine diesel engine with centa flexible coupling to a Newage PRM 750 gearbox with 2.9:1 reduction, turning the propeller. The exhaust is lagged, silenced and vents out from under the side deck. The engine powers twin 12v alternators to charge the 2 start batteries and 6 leisure batteries.

GAS
2 x 13kg Propane cylinders, housed in the bow locker, provides gas to the oven, grill and hob with auto change over.
