Emma Louise is a lovely 2 owner cruiser stern narrowboat that has been with the second owners since 1996 (unusual for a boat of this age). From the Bow

From the bow which holds the gas locker, there is a 4′ 8″ open self draining well deck. The stainless steel water tank is located below the well deck with a surface mounted filler. There is a folding wooden table with two folding chairs for use on the well deck. The headlamp is mounted on the front bulkhead.

Generic fixtures and fittings

The ceilings are lined with solid American light oak T & G. The cabin sides and hull sides are lined with solid American light oak planking trimmed with solid American light oak trims. All interior wood has been varnished. There are curtains or blinds to all windows. Flooring throughout is carpet except to the galley and shower room which have tile effect laminate.

Saloon / Dinette 9′ 6″

Wooden 2/3 glazed front doors, open out onto the front deck with a removable box step down into the saloon. There is access to the under deck storage below the front doors.

Fixed Furniture: Fixed settee with storage space beneath the seat. The bench seat can be used as a dinette when used with the removable table and also converts into a double berth. Under gunwale display shelves with fiddle rails.

Loose Furniture: Table with folding legs.

Other Features: 15″ Mobile flat screen TV with built in DVD.

Bedroom 8′

The cleverly designed rear cabin bedroom has two single bunk beds. The lower bunk can be converted to make a double bed and the top bunk can either be left up or folded down to allow for either 3 or 2 berth configurations. The lower bunk can also convert to a bench seat for daytime use

Heating is provided by the Alde gas fired central heating boiler running 3 radiators.

The exterior was last painted in 1997. The boat was last docked for blacking in June 2015. The hull is protected by 4 anodes renewed in 2015.

The boat comes equipped with a normal cruising inventory including a full set of ropes and fenders. Any additional items not listed must be negotiated separately with the owner.

The boat is powered by a Beta Marine 33hp, 4 cylinder marine diesel engine with a PRM 120 D2 gearbox with 2:1 reduction, turning the propeller. The exhaust is lagged, silenced and vents out from under the side deck. The engine powers a 12v alternator to charge the start battery and the 2 leisure batteries.
