56ft Cruiser stern Narrowboat £39,995

Alice Louise is a well cared for cruiser stern narrowboat by popular builder Liverpool Boat Company. She offers well-planned reverse layout 4 berth accommodation (unusual for a boat of this age) that would be equally suited for live-aboard or holiday use. Her roof was repainted in 2018 when she was also last out for blacking and new anodes. She was also last surveyed in August 2018. Viewing is recommended. Mooring available by separate negotiation.

From the Bow

From the bow, there is a 4′ 6″ open self draining well deck. The integral steel water tank is located beneath the well deck with a surface mounted filler. The headlamp is mounted on the front bulkhead.

Generic fixtures and fittings

The ceilings are lined with oak T & G. Cabin sides and hull sides are lined with painted plywood panels trimmed with solid oak. There are curtains or blinds to all windows. Flooring is wood effect laminate except in the bathroom which has vinyl flooring.

Bedroom 8′ 4″

Hardwood, ½ glazed front doors, open out onto the front deck with a step down into the bedroom. There is access to the under deck storage.

Furniture: Fixed four poster style double bed with storage drawers below. 1 x full height cupboard with shelving. Wall mounted shelving unit.

EXTERIOR FINISH
The boat was professionally painted when built using quality coach enamels. The roof was repainted in 2018. The boat was docked for blacking in August 2018. The hull is protected by 8 anodes renewed in 2018.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS OF INVENTORY
The boat comes equipped with a normal cruising inventory including a full set of ropes and fenders. Any additional items not listed must be negotiated separately with the owner.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The boat is powered by a Thorneycroft, 4 cylinder marine diesel engine coupled to a gearbox with 2:1 reduction, turning the propeller. The exhaust is lagged, silenced and vents out from under the side deck. The engine powers a 12v alternator to charge the start battery and the 3 leisure batteries.
