45ft Cruiser Stern Narrowboat £38,000

"Kaeru" is a lovely well cared for 45ft traditional style cruiser stern narrowboat. The saloon features a 2 seat sofa that converts to a double bed. Background

Quality 10/6/4mm steelwork by with side doors and a cruiser stern. Cratch and cover to the front and tonneau cover with dodger to the cruiser deck. Powered by a BMC 1800, 4 cylinder marine diesel engine with a ZF 12M mechanical gearbox. Quality fit-out in antique pine T&G with solid pine and sapele trims offering 4 berth accommodation to a traditional layout.

From the Bow

From the bow which holds the gas locker, there is a 3ft 8in self draining well deck with locker/seats to either side and a fold-out table. There is a wooden cratch frame with window to the front and a vinyl cover. The stainless steel water tank is located below the well deck with a surface mounted filler. The headlamp is mounted on the cratch board.

Saloon 12ft 3in

Wooden ⅔ glazed front doors, open out onto the front deck with a box step down into the saloon.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The boat is powered by a BMC 1800, 4 cylinder marine
diesel engine with a ZF 12M mechanical gearbox
with 2: 1 reduction, turning the propeller. The exhaust is
lagged, silenced and vents out from under the side deck.
The engine powers a 12v alternator to charge the start
battery and the 3 leisure batteries.
