Titan is a handsome well cared for live-aboard narrowboat built by respected builder Mike Heywood and subject to a comprehensive refit by a previous owner to a high standard. She benefited from a repaint in 2016 and she was last docked for blacking and new anodes in July 2016 when she also had a survey. She has a Boat Safety Certificate valid until September 2022. The revised asking price reflects the fact that work has been identified to replate the base of the hull.
Quality steelwork believed to be 6.35mm/6mm//4mm by Mike Heywood with side doors and a trad stern. Stylish fit-out by Mike Heywood with a comprehensive re-fit by a previous owner to a good standard offering comfortable 2 berth accommodation which could be increased to 4 berth by the addition of a sofa bed in the saloon. Powered by a Perkins 4108 40hp, 4 cylinder diesel engine coupled to a Hurth hydraulic gearbox.
From the Bow
From the bow which holds the gas locker, there is a 5ft open self draining well deck with seats to all sides. The water tank is located beneath the well deck with a surface mounted filler. The headlamp is mounted on a mast at the bow.
Generic fixtures and fittings
The ceilings and cabin sides are lined with painted plywood panels with solid pine trims. The hull sides are lined with painted T&G trimmed with solid pine. There are curtains or blinds to all windows. Flooring throughout is carpet tiles except in the bathroom which has wood effect laminate.

The boat comes equipped with a normal cruising inventory
including a full set of ropes and fenders. Any additional
items not listed must be negotiated separately with the
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The boat is powered by a Perkins 4108, 4 cylinder, marine
diesel engine coupled to a Hurth hydraulic gearbox with 2: 1
reduction, turning the propeller. The exhaust is lagged,
silenced and vents out from under the side deck.
The engine powers a 12v alternator to charge the start
battery and the 4 leisure batteries.
Moorings are not available with this boat.
