Deja-Vu is a handsome two-owner bespoke trad stern narrowboat by respected builders Peter Nicholls with a beautiful high quality traditional fit out. She is accessed via the bow doors and side doors (not from the rear), giving a very comfortable full width bed and is absolutely ideal as a spacious liveaboard home. Notable features include the dedicated dining room that could easily be converted to a second bedroom. Fully repainted and blacked with 2 pack epoxy in 2018.
Quality 10/6/4/3 mm steelwork by Peter Nicholls with two sets of side doors and a trad stern to a bespoke design. There is a tonneau cover to the front (new in 2018). High quality fit-out by Peter Nicholls in pine T&G and oak faced ply with solid mahogany trims offering comfortable 2 berth accommodation. Powered by a 1973 SABB 30hp, 2 cylinder marine diesel engine with its original SABB gearbox. Sliepner dual impeller bow thruster with controls at the bow and stern.
From the Bow
From the bow which has a storage locker there is a 3 well deck with steel locker/seats to either side of the well deck and a front tonneau cover new in 2018. The stainless steel water tank is located below the well deck with a surface mounted filler. The brass headlamp is mounted on a mast at the bow.
Generic Fixtures and Fittings
The ceilings and cabin sides are lined with pine tongue and groove trimmed with solid mahogany. The hull sides are lined with oak faced plywood panels trimmed with solid mahogany. All interior wood has been varnished to a gloss finish. The flooring is carpet throughout except to the galley and bathroom which have vinyl flooring.

Hardwood, glazed front doors open out onto the well deck with storage steps down into the spacious saloon.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The boat is powered by a Sabb 30hp, 2 cylinder marine diesel engine with its original SABB gearbox. The exhaust is lagged, silenced and vents out through the side deck. The engine powers twin 12v alternators to charge the start battery and the 5 leisure batteries.
Sliepner dual impeller bow thruster with controls at the bow and stern.
The 140 litre stainless steel water tank is located beneath the well deck. Water pump with pressure switch is located adjacent to the tank. Twin coil calorifier is heated by the 240v immersion heater, Alde gas fired boiler and/or the engine heat exchanger.
Heating is provided by the Morso solid fuel stove in the saloon, Alde gas fired boiler running fin rads throughout the boat.
240v circuit from landline with RCD.
12v lights throughout protected by fuses.

The boat had a back to metal professional repaint in 2018. The boat was last docked for blacking in 2016. The hull is protected by 12 anodes renewed in 2018 and a galvanic isolator.

The boat comes equipped with a normal cruising inventory including a full set of ropes and fenders. Any additional items not listed must be negotiated separately with the owner.
