Wagtail is a beautiful 2001 trad stern narrowboat with recessed panels by respected builder Tyler Wilson. She is two-owner narrow boat, the current owners having had her since 2011. From the Bow
From the bow which holds the gas locker, there is a 5 8 self draining well deck. The stainless steel water tank is located beneath the well deck with a surface mounted filler. There is a separate diesel tank to supply the Lockgate stove. Two halogen headlamps are mounted on the roof.

The ceilings, cabin sides and hull sides are lined with oak veneered plywood panels and have solid oak trims.. All interior wood has been varnished. Flooring throughout is carpet, with wood effect laminate in the bathroom and wood effect vinyl in the galley.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The boat is powered by a Beta Marine 43hp, 4 cylinder, marine diesel engine coupled to a Newage PRM 150 hydraulic gearbox with 2: 1 reduction, turning the propeller. The exhaust is lagged, silenced and vents out from under the side deck.
The engine powers two 12v alternator to charge the start battery and the 5 leisure batteries.
The stainless steel water tank is located beneath the well deck. The twin coil calorifier is heated by the Webasto diesel fired boiler, immersion or the engine heat exchanger.
Heating is provided by the Lockgate diesel fired stove in the saloon.
240v circuit from landline with RCD.
12v lights throughout protected by fuses.
2 x 12v, engine driven alternators.
