36ft Trad Stern Narrowboat Reduced: £32,000

Pintpot is a lovely 36ft 4 berth narrow boat that lives up to her name! She was built in 1995 by respected builder John White and fitted out to a high standard by the first owner. Pintpot has well cleverly laid out and versatile 4 berth accommodation and has been well loved and cared for by the current owners.She was last out of the water for blacking in September 2020. Background

Quality 8/6/4/mm steelwork with a trad stern by John White. High quality fit-out by the first owner in oak faced ply with solid light oak trims offering 22 berth accommodation. Powered by a Isuzu 35hp, 4 cylinder marine diesel engine with a PRM 120 D2 gearbox.

From the Bow

From the bow which holds the gas locker, there is a 3 6 open self draining well deck. There is a locker/seat to the front of the well deck which holds the Plastimo water tank.

Generic Fixtures and Fittings

The ceilings, cabin sides and hull sides are lined with oak faced ply trimmed with solid light oak. All interior wood has been varnished or painted. There are curtains or blinds to all windows. Flooring throughout is carpet.

Galley 5ft 5in

Steel ⅔ glazed front doors, wood lined internally open out onto the well deck with a step down into the walk through galley.
The walk through galley has custom built wooden units with oak doors. Worktops are Formica with ceramic tiled splash-backs.

Base units: 1 x double cupboard beneath the sink with a drawer above. 1 x single cupboard. Oven housing. Fridge housing. There is a full height storage cupboard with hanging rail.

Wall Units: 1 x double wall cupboard.

Appliances: Vanette SL2 , inset four burner gas hob. Vanette 4000, built in oven with separate grill. 12v, Shoreline fridge with icebox. Inset, stainless steel sink and drainer with matching monobloc tap.

Aft of the bedroom is the trad area where the engine is housed under the floor panels as well as all the electrical hardware for the running of the boat. Steel rear doors, wood lined internally with sliding roof hatch lead to the rear deck and steering position.

Controls: The single lever engine control is on the port side just inside the stern doors.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The boat is powered by a Isuzu 35hp, 4 cylinder, marine diesel engine coupled to a PRM 120 D2 gearbox with 2: 1 reduction, turning the propeller. The exhaust is lagged, silenced and vents out from under the side deck.
The engine powers twin 12v alternators to charge the start battery and the 3 leisure batteries.

WATER
The 120 litre Plastimo water tank is located below the well deck. Water pump with pressure switch is located adjacent to the tank. The twin coil calorifier is heated by the Webasto diesel fired boiler and/or the engine heat exchanger

HEATING
Heating is provided by the Hawk solid fuel stove in the saloon and the Webasto diesel fired boiler running 3 radiators.

ELECTRICS
12v lights throughout protected by fuses.
2 x 12v, 80 amp/hr engine driven alternators.
1 x 12v, engine start battery.
3 x 12v, 110 amp/hr deep cycle leisure batteries.

GAS
2 x 13kg Propane cylinders housed in the bow locker, provide gas to the hob, oven and grill.

FIRE SAFETY

EXTERIOR FINISH
The exterior was repainted in April 2016 by Willow Boats. The boat was last docked for blacking in 2020. The hull is protected by anodes.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS OF INVENTORY
The boat comes equipped with a normal cruising inventory including a full set of ropes and fenders. Any additional items not listed must be negotiated separately with the owner.
