Background

45ft Trad style narrow boat. Quality steelwork with 2 x sets of side doors with roof hatches and a trad stern by John Smith. Professional fit-out in oak faced plywood with solid oak trims offering 2-5 berth accommodation. Powered by a Lister ST/W2 14hp, 3 cylinder marine diesel engine coupled to a manual gearbox. BSSC to April 2020.

From the Bow

From the bow which holds the gas locker, there is a 3′ 6″ open self draining well deck. The integral steel water tank is located beneath the well deck with a surface mounted filler.

Generic fixtures and fittings

The ceilings, cabin sides and hull sides are lined with oak faced plywood panels trimmed with solid oak. All interior wood has been varnished. There are curtains or blinds to all windows. Flooring throughout is carpet.

Small Saloon 5′ 8″

UPVC, double glazed front doors, open out onto the front deck with a step down into the forward seating area.

Fixed Furniture: 2 x facing bench seats with storage drawers beneath one of these. The seating converts into a double berth. 1 x full height wardrobe. 1 x half height corner cupboard.

Lighting: Glazed front doors. 3 x 12v, ceiling lights.

Power: 2 x 240v sockets. 1 x TV aerial point.

Saloon/Dinette 8′ 4″

Fixed Furniture: “L” shaped fixed settee/dinette with storage drawers beneath. The settee can be used as a dinette and a single berth. 1 x half height corner cupboard with built in JVC radio/CD player. 1 x full height wardrobe.

Loose Furniture: Large rectangular dining table with desmo legs. Small round table with desmo leg.

Heating: 1 x large central heating radiator.

Appliances: Vanette slot in gas cooker with separate oven and grill. Electrolux multi-fuel 12v/240v/gas fridge. Inset, enamel sink and drainer with chrome monobloc tap.

Bathroom 5′ x 4′

The cabin bathroom has a light suite comprising:

Suite: 4′ hip bath with mixer shower and a shower curtain. Vanity unit with inset wash basin, matching taps and a large cupboard beneath. Sealand Traveller pump-out toilet.

Lighting: 1 x window with top hopper opening vent and privacy glass. 1 x 12v, ceiling light.

Corridor Lighting: 1 x set of steel side doors, wood lined internally with roof hatch.

Rear cabin 6′

Aft of the bathroom is the rear cabin.

The integral steel water tank is located beneath the well deck. Water pump with pressure switch and accumulator is located adjacent to the tank. Twin coil calorifier heated by the Alde gas fired boiler, and/or engine heat exchanger.

HEATING
Heating is provided by the Alde gas fired boiler running 2 radiators.

EXTERIOR FINISH
The exterior paintwork is in fair condition and the hull is protected by black bitumen and 4 anodes.

The boat comes equipped with a normal cruising inventory including a full set of ropes and fenders. Any additional items not listed must be negotiated separately with the owner.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The boat is powered by a Lister ST/W2 14hp, 3 cylinder marine diesel engine coupled to a manual gearbox with 2:1 reduction, turning the propeller. The exhaust is lagged, silenced and vents out from under the side deck. The engine powers a 12v alternator to charge the start battery and the 2 leisure batteries.
