This is the first of it's kind category C, Eco-Kingsley. Based on the best selling Elton Moss Boatbuilders' Kingsley barge range this boat is built to Category C regulations meaning it can be taken out into coastal waters and if conditions are appropriate can be taken across the English channel to explore Europe's canals and rivers. It has also been built with a number of key 'Eco-friendly' features including electric propulsion and a ground source heating system.

65′ x 12′ New Kingsley style barge. Quality steelwork with collapsible mahogany wheelhouse, beautiful oak fit-out with a two bedroom reverse lay-out. Powered by a Canaline 80hp marine diesel engine with a PRM 260 gearbox. Ideal live-aboard barge offering luxury two bedroomed accommodation. Equally suitable as a well equipped holiday/leisure boat, all year round, at home and abroad.

From the Bow

From the bow which houses the anchor winch there is an open self draining front deck. The headlamps is mounted on the front bulkhead.

Generic fixtures and fittings

The ceilings are cream painted reed and bead, the cabin sides are lined with cream painted beech faced ply panels trimmed with solid oak, and below the gunwales is solid oak reed and bead.All the interior wood has been lacquered. There are oak shutters to all windows. Flooring is oak planking throughout except in the shower room which has non slip vinyl.

Master Bedroom 10′ 4″

Steel, fully glazed front doors open out on to the front deck.

Furniture: King-sized fixed double bed with storage cupboards and the water tank in the base. 2 x full height cupboards either side of the bed. Full height double wardrobe with mirrored doors. 3 x chest of drawers.

Lighting: 1 x glazed front hatch. 2 x large portholes with drop back openings. 6 x 12v, LED ceiling lights. 2 x 12v, LED wall lights.

Heating: Under floor heating. Air conditioning unit.

The galley has custom built cabinets with high gloss white and grey doors and drawer fronts. Worktops splash-backs are white Techstone with mosaic tiled splashbacks.

Base Units: Shelved cupboard, double cupboard under sink that extends into both corners. Fridge and freezer housing with electrics. 2 x single cupboards 1 x 4 drawer unit in between. Island unit including built in breakfast bar and slim line wine cooler.

Wall Units: 2 x cupboards, inc. Extractor fan housing.

Appliances: Four ring electric hob. Built in electric oven and grill. Fridge, separate freezer and dishwasher. Under slung, stainless steel, sink and chrome monobloc tap.

Wheelhouse 9′ 9″ x 8′ 9″

A hardwood door leads from the galley up to the wheelhouse. The glazed mahogany wheelhouse is fully collapsible. The engine room is below the wheelhouse and accessed through the lift up floor panel. Part glazed, stable style, rear door leads out to the decks.

Controls: The single lever engine control, steering wheel and the control panel are mounted on the centre console at the steering position.

Other Features: Motorised collapsible wheelhouse. Housing for gas locker that can be used as additional seating. Oak table top with desmo legs.

Lighting: Windows all round. 4 LED lights in cabin sides.

Bedroom Two 6′ 6″

WATER
Stainless steel water tank located beneath the master bed. Water pump with pressure switch and accumulator is located adjacent to the tank. Twin coil calorifier is heated by the engine heat exchanger, 230v immersion heater and/or the diesel fired central heating boiler.

HEATING
Heating is provided by the solid fuel stove in the saloon and the Webasto diesel fired central heating boiler running 5 radiators.

EXTERIOR FINISH
The boat was painted when built using 2 pack commercial vehicle paint. The hull is protected by 2 pack epoxy resin, 4 anodes and a galvanic isolator.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS OF INVENTORY
The boat comes equipped with a normal cruising inventory including front and rear fenders, front and rear ropes, plank, pole and boat hook.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The boat is powered by a hybrid diesel and electric system, A Bell Marine electric motor and a Fischer Panda generator provide an electric propulsion system. The boat is additionally powered by a Canaline 80 hp, 4 cylinder, marine diesel engine coupled to a Newage PRM hydraulic gearbox with 2:1 reduction, turning the propeller. The exhaust is lagged, silenced and vents out from under the side deck.

BOW-THRUSTER
Vetus 125kgf bow-thruster with controls at the stern.
