Background

New Marbury Cruiser style narrow boat available from 50ft to 64ft long (Example shown is a 50ft boat, other stern types are also available as well). Quality steelwork with side doors by The Northwich Boat Company. A beautiful modern reverse layout, fitted out in light oak and offering 2 berth accommodation (extendable to 4 berths with the addition of the optional dinette, or 6 berths for the 64ft two bedroom version). Powered by a 38hp (50ft or 57ft) or 42hp (64ft) Canaline Marine diesel engine. From the Bow

From the bow which has a steel gas locker there is a 4ft open self draining well deck. The water tank is located beneath the well deck with a surface mounted filler.

Generic fixtures and fittings

The ceilings, cabin sides and hull sides are lined in oak faced ply and trimmed with solid oak (painted panels are an optional extra). All the interior wood has been varnished to a satin finish. Flooring throughout is carpet except to the bathroom and galley which have vinyl (Laminate or solid wood flooring are optional extras).

Bedroom 10′ 8″

Steel front doors, 1/2 glazed and oak panelled internally, open out onto the front deck with steps leading down into the bedroom.

Furniture: 6’ 3” x 4‘ fixed double bed (optional pull-out extension available to make the bed 4’ 6” wide). 1 x over-bed book shelf. 1 x full height wardrobe. 1 x

Cruiser deck & Stern 7′ 6″

Steel rear doors, oak panelled internally with sliding roof hatch, lead from the galley to the cruiser deck where the engine and batteries are housed under the floor panels. There are steel gas locker/seats to either side of the rear doors.

Special Features: Steel Taff rail with hardwood seat.

Controls: The column mounted single lever engine control is on the port side. The control panel is mounted just inside the rear doors on the port side.

Flooring: Marine ply panels covered with anti-slip deck tread.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The boat is powered by a Canaline, 38 hp, 4 cylinder, marine diesel engine coupled to a PRM gearbox with 2:1 reduction, turning the propeller. The exhaust is lagged, silenced and vents out from under the side deck. The engine powers two 12v alternators to charge the start battery and the 3 leisure batteries.
